Rourkela: Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday raided properties on a junior clerk in Sundargarh district for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
The junior clerk has been identified as Nandi Kishore Nath of Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Rourkela.
“On the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Nandi Kishore Nath, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 3 DSPs, 9 Inspectors ,1SI, 2 ASIs and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar”, a statement issued by the Vigilance said.
The Vigilance sleuths are conducting raids at six places including residential house of Nath at Flat No. 105 located over plot No. 1536/3036 at Sai Krupa Enclave, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar; Parental House of Nath at Vill- VSS Nagar, PS- Town Baragarh, Dist- Baragarh;
Nath’s Govt. residential quarter located at Rural Works Colony, Panposh, Near Hocky Chowk , Rourkela, Dist- Sundargarh; Office chamber of Sri Nath located in the O/o Executive Engineer, Rural Works, Rourkela, Dist- Sundargarh; House of Sri Nath located at Ainthapalli, SambaSambalpurhis relative’s house located at Sambalpur.
Search is in progress, the Vigilance said.
