Berhampur: The Excise Department officials today intercepted a passenger bus on the Lanjipalli Bypass road and seized Rs 32 lakhs from a passenger.
The bus was enroute to Cuttack from Berhampur.
Acting on a tip off regarding illegal ganja transportation, the Excise officials had intercepted the bus. But the officials found the huge money from a passenger belonging to West Bengal. The person has been detained at the Baidyanathpur Police Station and investigation is continuing, as per reports.
