Sambalpur: The Bar Council of India (BCI) on Monday revoked the suspension order on 54 lawyers of Sambalpur Bar Association.
In a letter to the Odisha State Bar Council, the Bar Council of India said that it has revoked suspension of 54 advocates of the Sambalpur Bar whose license had been suspended by the BCI in December last year.
The BCI also informed about inclusion of names of the lawyers in the voter list in the ensuing Bar Council Election.
Notably, the lawyers were suspended for allegedly ransacking on Sambalpur district court during protest demanding High Court bench last year.
