Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh has assumed the charge of Principal Secretary of Rural Development Department, Government of Odisha.
Rural Development Department Special Secretary Akshya Kumar Pradhan, Director cum Special Secretary Sundarshan Parida and other senior officials of the Department welcomed Singh on his joining.
After assuming the charge, Principal Secretary Singh held discussions with the senior officers regarding the various activities of the department.
After being informed about the various programs and welfare schemes of the Department, Singh advised the officials to work with determination and responsibility for their proper implementation.
Besides, Rural Development Department, Singh also holds the charge as Principal Secretary of Information & Public Relations Department, Vice-chairman of Bhubaneswar Development Authority and Managing Director of Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd.
