Cuttack: SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack has achieved a milestone by successfully completing the first Therapeutic Plasmapheresis procedure by Apheresis method.
The Department of Transfusion, Medicine and Blood Centre, SCBMCH has successfully completed the procedure on a 60-year old female from Bargarh in collaboration with Department of Neurology, Nephrology and Anesthesia.
It is the first Therapeutic Plasmapheresis procedure by Apheresis method in a state-run hospital in Odisha.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the SCB Medical College and Hospital for the feat and said that high quality and affordable healthcare continue to be a priority for Sustha Odisha.
