Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Friday clarified that the news stating all schools have been closed till June 15 due to heat wave conditions in the State is fake.
The Government has said that it is a punishable offense to spread such fake news and create confusion in the public.
“It has been noticed that a fake news regarding the closure of schools in Odisha till June 15 is being circulated in social media. Circulation of such fake news will invite punishment in accordance with the law,” said the Government said in a statement.
