SEBC Survey Begins Across State; To Continue Till May 27th

Bhubaneswar: The survey ofSocially & Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) has started today across Odisha and will continue till 27th of this month.

Odisha is the second state in the country to conduct such an elaborate survey after Bihar. It is being conducted both offline and online. Head of the families or any member belonging to the backward classes can provide the information at the designated survey centers set up at the Wards, Anganwadi Kendras and schools. The Government has engaged Anganwadi workers and teachers for this state wide enumeration.

In online mode, people can provide information by logging into the website of the Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes at www.oscbc.odisha.gov.in and upload their details. The survey contains information pertaining to social and educational aspects and details of the ration and Aadhaar Cards or Voter Identity Cards of the family members.Those who have no Adhaar or ration card can also participate in the Survey at the survey centers that remain open from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on all working days till 27th May.
