Bhubaneswar: Senior Biju Janata Dal leader and former minister Damodar Rout is serious and admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
According to his son Sambit Routray, Dama Rout had a stroke on the 18th of this month after which he was taken to the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was shifted to a private hospital as his condition deteriorated.
The condition of Dama Rout remains critical. The oxygen supply to the brain has been affected, according to his son.
