Bhubaneswar: The Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district will reopen for the tourists and visitors from October 14.
The national park is reopening after being closed for nearly five months during the monsoon season.
Generally, Similipal National Park reopens in November every year. However, this time the park will be opened early in October, as per the reports.
The tourists can enter the park between 6 am and 9 am. A maximum of 35 four-wheelers will be allowed entry through the Kaliani gate on the Jashipur side while 25 vehicles will be allowed through the Pithabatata gate on the Baripada side per day.
The tourists can book tickets at the counter for entry of vehicles from 6 am to 9 am. They can leave the premises from Barehipani and Jaranda by 3 pm and Chahala by 4 pm, according to sources.
The visitors will not be allowed to take plastic bottles, intoxicants, non-vegetarian food items, and inflammatory products along with them while visiting the park.
