Bhubaneswar: The Similipal National Park and Tiger reserve will be closed for visitors from today in view of the onset of Monsoon. The authorities have taken the decision to close the national park for visitors for four months starting from today keeping in view the safety of tourists during the Monsoon season.
Most of the roads running inside the National Park become unrideable with monsoon rains. The Similipal National Park and Tiger reserve spread over an area of more than 2500 Square Kilometers.
