SOA Founder Dr. Manoj Ranjan Nayak to Be Conferred with NIT Rourkela Distinguished Alumnus Award

Bhubaneswar: Eminent educationist and Founder President of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) Prof. Dr. Manoj Ranjan Nayak will be honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NIT Rourkela).

Dr. Nayak, a 1983 batch B. Tech student of NIT Rourkela, will receive the prestigious award for his immense contribution to the field of academia and research, and society.

The award will be conferred to Dr. Nayak at the 19th convocation ceremony of NIT Rourkela, which will be held on January 18.

With a broader vision to develop a quality educational hub in Odisha, Dr. Nayak founded the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, which promotes quality academics and innovative research in various disciplines and plays an instrumental role in preparing future generations.

Recently, Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has highly appreciated Dr. Nayak for his relentless efforts to promote quality education and research.
Besides B. Tech from NIT Rourkela, Dr. Nayak holds a Ph.D. from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur.
