Bhubaneswar: The southwest monsoon has covered the entire Odisha on Friday, the IMD’s Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar said.
The monsoon, which has covered most parts of Malkangiri, and parts of Koraput and Gajapati districts after its arrival on Thursday, has covered the remaining parts of the State today.
The State has recorded 21.3 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours, which is 139 percent more than the normal rainfall of 8.9 mm. The highest rainfall was recorded in Malkangiri district with 52.5 mm which is 591% more than the normal rainfall, the IMD said.
