Bhubaneswar: The Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from entire Odisha on Friday, informed the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar.
“Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from entire Odisha, today the 13th October, 2023. The line of withdrawal of the Southwest Monsoon now passes through Forbesganj, Malda, 24.0°N/89.0°E, 20.0°N/89.0°E, Visakhapatnam, Nalgonda, Raichur, Vengurla, and 16.0°N/70.0°E”, the Metrological Centre said in a press release.
Southwest Monsoon had set in over Odisha on June 15. Though the monsoon usually reaches Odisha between June 10 and June 12, its onset was delayed by at least four days this time.
