Stay in line or pay the price, Tejashwi tells Union Minister from Bihar

Patna:  Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday warned a Union Minister from the state not to cross the line or he will have to pay the price.

“That minister comes from Bihar and he was trying to repeat the incident of Maharashtra. That minister was dreaming of holding the post of Chief Minister of Bihar. I want to ask him to stay in line or he would get appropriate treatment. This is Bihar and people of Delhi will not save him here,” he said.

“Now, we have a government of Mahagathbandhan in Bihar and the BJP is alone here. We are going to win 40 out of 40 seats in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Hence, BJP is doing the drama,” the RJD leader added.

Tejashwi Yadav also slammed some media organisations for “doing one-sided reporting” when CBI was carrying out the raids on his party leaders and trying to malign his image.

“When the CBI raided the house of RJD MLC Sunil Kumar Singh, some media organisations reported that crores of rupees were recovered from his house. The CBI team brought a currency counting machine to count the notes which was absolutely false. If the CBI recovered crores from his house, then put it into public domain. Release the details of the currency notes. Some media organisations report the incidents on the basis of sources and without caring what exactly was recovered from there. There was no truth in their reporting. It was an objectionable act with an idea to defame me. I want to ask them to rectify themselves and not do one-sided reporting,” he said.

“The CBI sleuths came here to seize my currency but I have detected the currency of BJP. The CBI conducted the raid on an Urban Cube mall of Gurugram located at Sector 71… that mall belongs to White Line Corporation Ltd and Navdeep and Atma Prakash have shares in it. If I was the director or shareholder of that mall, my name should have been mentioned in the list. Where is my name? CBI should clarify it as my name was used in the raid.

“Now, I have cleared that my name was not mentioned as a director or shareholder of that mall, will the CBI register an FIR against the BJP as I have already cleared that a BJP MP has invested in that mall,” Tejashwi Yadav said.

“CBI raided the house of RJD leaders in Bihar under land for job scam, I want to say that CBI is registering FIR against those persons who got jobs in 2005 and sold the land in 2015. The CBI officials are using abusive language during the raids and threatening them to penalised them if they continue their links with Lalu Prasad Yadav,” he alleged.
