Bhubaneswar: Keeping the invitation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, the son of Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, reached Odisha for Hockey World Cup 2023.
Udhayanidhi Stalin was given a rousing welcome on his arrival to Bhubaneswar by MLA Pranab Prakash Das.
On the occasion, Minister Atanu Sabyasachi, MLAs Pranab Kumar Balabantaray, Ananta Narayan Jena and Susant Rout; BMC Mayor Sulochana Das and Chairperson of Odisha Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board Shreemayee Mishra and others were present.
The Tamil Nadu Sports Minister will watch the world cup match between India and Wales to be held at Kalinga Stadium this evening.
Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has invited Chief Ministers of all States to Hockey World Cup, which Odisha is hosting for the second consecutive time.
