Kendrapada: Keeping the words of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the overall development of Patkura constituency in Kendrapara district, three high level teams led by senior officials of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today reviewed the development works in Patkura.
The teams visited various blocks in Patkura to take stock of development works being undertaken by the Government.
Three teams under Special Secretary to CM DS Kutey, Additional Secretary to CM Roopa Roshan Sahoo and Additional Secretary to CM Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra made surprise visits to schools of every gram panchayats and discussed with local PRI members on various projects relating to health, education, drinking water, road connectivity and electricity being implemented by the government.
During the visit, the team led by DS Kutey has sealed a liquor shop situated near school at Sana Adhanga gram panchayat following the allegations of the villagers that the liquor shop was licensed to run at the different place, not near the school. The shop was sealed immediately.
Kendrapara Collector Samarth Verma was also present during the sealing.
Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had promised to look after developmental activities himself during the last Patkura by-election.
