Temperature to Drop in Next 4-5 Days in Odisha: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The people of Odisha may get respite from the heat wave and humidity in the next four to five days due to drop in the temperature.

As the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar, there would be no possibility of any significant change in the temperature during the next four to five days. After that, the temperature will drop and the heat wave and humidity level will be reduced, it said.

Meanwhile, the metrological centre has issued orange warning for Sonepur, Boudh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh and Bolangir districts for heat wave and yellow warning for Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts.

Earlier this morning, the centre said that the weather conditions are favorable for the onset of monsoon in the State.

The temperature of Odisha has turned favorable for further advance of southwest monsoon over some more parts of south Peninsular, east India and adjoining areas during June 18 and June 21, it added.
