Bhubaneswar: Opposition Congress has given thumbs down to the first Budget of the BJP Government in Odisha.
Reacting to the state Budget 2024-25 presented by CM Mahon Majhi in the Assembly, Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati said that there is nothing new in this Budget.
There is nothing in the Budget for the development of farmers and women. This Budget is meant for putting hardship on the poor, he said.
The BJP Government has just changed names of 42 schemes of the previous government and marginally increased 10 per cent to 15 percent in some schemes, he said.
