Bhubaneswar: Two prominent JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) leaders joined the Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal here on Monday.
JMM’s Odisha unit former president Mahesh Chandra Hembram and vice president Ramchandra Murmu took the membership of the BJD along with their supporters.
The induction programme was held at BJD’s State Headquarters this morning.
BJD Organisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das has welcomed the new members to the party fold and said that their joining will further strengthen the party in Mayurbhanj district.
