Bhubaneswar: UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) India is all set to expand LSE (Life Skills Education) programme in Odisha to support the girls in tribal and other vulnerable communities.
Argentina Matavel Piccin, the Resident Representative for UNFPA India met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Thursday and pledged to support the State Government in LSE programme for the development of tribal girls, sources said.
“I want girls from backward areas to lead healthy, progressive lives”, said the Odisha Chief Minister to Matavel.
Taking to Twitter, the UN organization informed that UNFPA India is set to expand LSE in Odisha to support CMO Odisha, especial to girls in tribal and other vulnerable communities.
