New Delhi: Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda has expressed his deep gratitude to the Odisha Government and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for helping the migrant labourers from other States during the ongoing lockdown.
The Union Minister praised the Odisha Government for providing shelter, food and essential needs to migrant workers of Jharkhand and West Bengal.
“A heartfelt gratitude to Odisha Government @Naveen_Odisha. Migrant labourers of Giridih, Jharkhand & Murshidabad, WestBengal are being provided shelter, food & essential needs by Samakhunta & Saraskana Block in Mayurbhanj Dist”, he tweeted.

Notably, the Odisha Government has set up 336 camps to provide food and accommodation to migrant workers from other States, such as West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
