Bhubaneswar: In a bid to intensify the vaccination drive, the Odisha Government today instructed all Collectors and Municipal Commissioners to ensure 100% vaccination of healthcare workers by February 10.
The Health Department has also raised concerned over the low percentage of vaccination in few districts.
“Clear message should be given that those who do not turn up for vaccination when called on the designated date will forgo the opportunity to get free vaccination from the Government,” stated an order by the Government.
Notably, Deogarh has reported lowest vaccination at 42% and Khordha (61%), Jajapur (62%), Jagatsinghpur (66%).
