Bhubaneswar: The vigilance sleuths raided multiple places of Senior Assistant, Director of Distance & Continuing Education (DDCE), Vani Vihar here today on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
The anti-corruption officials conducted simultaneous raids at five different locations of Ashok Kumar Mishra, Sr. Asst, Director of Distance & Continuing Education (DDCE), Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar based on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
Mishra’s residential double storied building at Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar, double storied building at Prasanti Vihar, Patia, Bhubaneswar, quarter at Vani Vihar campus, office room at DDCE, Vani Vihar and his native house in Cuttack have been raided on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
During search, one more double storied building of Mishra has been detected at Kalinga Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
Cash of Rs.3,55,000 has also been recovered so far, the vigilance said.
