Mumbai: Actor Vicky Kaushal, who appeared on the latest episode of ‘Superstar Singer 3’, shook a leg with the judge of the show and singer Neha Kakkar on his latest track ‘Tauba Tauba’ from the upcoming movie ‘Bad Newz’.
The kids’ singing reality show presented a musical extravaganza with its ‘Namaste 90’s’ special episode. Adding to the electrifying atmosphere on set, the episode featured the dashing cast of ‘Bad Newz’ — Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.
Among the performances, 14-year-old Shubh Sutradhar from Siliguri, West Bengal, captivated everyone with his beautiful renditions of the timeless classics, ‘Bahon Ke Darmiyan’ and ‘Dheere Dheere Se’. The soul-stirring performance earned Shubh a standing ovation from all.
In a heartwarming moment, Shubh expressed his admiration for Vicky.
Vicky, who was left spellbound by Shubh’s captivating singing, went on to share that he would want Shubh to do a playback for his future projects; making it a dream come true moment for Shubh.
Later, at Vicky’s request, Shubh sang ‘Tauba Tauba’, prompting both Vicky and Neha to dance, creating a beautiful moment.

Meanwhile, the movie ‘Bad Newz’ also stars Triptii Dimri in the lead role. The comedy extravaganza revolves around a unique pregnancy phenomenon, ‘Heteropaternal Superfecundation’, inspired by true events.
The film unfolds with Saloni (Triptii) discovering that she is pregnant with twins from two different fathers, Akhil (Vicky) and Gurbir (Ammy).
Directed by Anand Tiwari, ‘Bad Newz’ is presented by Amazon Prime and Dharma Productions, in association with Leo Media Collective.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, ‘Bad Newz’ is slated to release in theatres on July 19.
On the work front, Vicky also has the historical drama ‘Chhava’ in the pipeline.
In this movie, Vicky portrays the role of Maratha emperor Sambhaji, son of Shivaji. The film also features Rashmika Mandana, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles.
