Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS Officer Vir Vikram Yadav has been appointed as the Principal Secretary, Works Department, Government of Odisha. He will hold the additional charge of the Works Department along with his present responsibility as Principal Secretary Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department. He also holds the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Cooperation Department.
The appointment comes as the incumbent Works Department Principal Secretary Dr Krishan Kumar is relieved from the State Government to join the Government of India as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce & Industry. Dr Krishan Kumar was also holding the additional charge of Chief Administrator, Sri Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri.
