Bhubaneswar: In a first in the country, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced four months’ advance salary to doctors, paramedics and medical staffs for their relentless services to contain the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the State.
The doctors and other medical staffs will receive four months’ (April, May, June and July) advance salaries in April, the CM said.
Explaining the doctors and paramedics as first line of defence against Covid-19, the Chief Minister hailed their contributions and sacrifices to protect the State and people in the midst of the COVID 19 outbreak.
