Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal evolves with time with new approaches and new people. Change happens at the organizational level after the every election and it happened yesterday, said BJD national spokesperson Santrupt Misra.
Santrupt Misra, who has been appointed as the Political Secretary to BJD President Naveen Patnaik, said that the party will work under the direction of Naveen Patnaik to reach out to the people.
“We will work under the direction of party President Naveen Patnaik to take BJD forward and reach out to the people”, said Mishra in press briefing along with senior party leader and state media coordinator Pratap Jena.
As a main opposition party and well-wisher of Odisha, what will be our new approaches and roles will be decided by Naveen Patnaik, Mishra said while adding that his responsibility is to implement the direction of the party President.
Senior BJD leader Pratap Jena said the media cell of the party has been revamped as part of efforts to make it more dynamic and vibrant.
The aim is to highlight different issues and problems being faced by the people for necessary steps by the government, he added.
The media wing will work sincerely to raise people’s voice and place their problems before the state government, Jena further stated.
