What Is the Problem If CMO Reaches Out to Common Men at Their Doorsteps: Prasanna Acharya

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is the head of our government and our Party. As the president of the party, the Chief Minister gives responsibility to various Party workers. He does not devolve power. He does not hand over the power given to him by the constitution of the Party. As such, the Chief Minister is also the head of the Government. It is the prerogative of the Chief Minister to assign duties to various people or officials in the Government. Where is the irregularity? Biju Janata Dal Senior Vice-President Prasanna Acharya today lashed out at the opposition leaders on the issue of the Center writing a letter to the state Government.

Speaking to media, Prasanna said the so called letter from the Center is a normal procedure and earlier also there were instances when the Center has written letters. It is nothing new. It is a part of the governance system. It is a part of the governance system and there is not much importance in this, he said. He said “I don’t understand where the violation is? The Chief Minister has made his residence a Grievance center. If the CM’s office reaches out to the common people, then what is the issue all about? What is the irregularity if the Government reaches out to the people, he asked.

Those who do not have issues, make issues of nothing. Please don’t create hurdles in the development of the state. If the CM’s office is reaching to the common men, people are very happy, he said.
