New Delhi: India has added 60,975 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of corona infections to 3,167,323.
With 848 fresh deaths, the death toll due to COVID-19 soared to 58,390 in the country, said the Union Health Ministry.
Of the total 3,167,323 cases, as many as 7,04,348 are active cases and 24,04,585 people recovered from the virus so far.
India has tested more than 3.5 crore people for COVID-19 so far, the Health Ministry stated.
