Bhubaneswar: Today is World AIDS Day. The day is celebrated to raise awareness about the disease and shun stereotypes and stigma that force patients to undergo additional apathy and sorrow.
It is also celebrated to remember those who died because of conditions related to AIDS. On this World AIDS Day, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has called for pledging ourselves to ensure quality and affordable healthcare, end inequities, remove stigma, so that people affected by AIDS can lead a normal life.
