Bhubaneswar: The Archeological Survey Of India is observing World Heritage Week from today and on this occasion it has decided to allow free entry to all visitors to all the monuments maintained in the country by it on November 19th. In a tweet, the ASI has said that “Entry will be free for all at @ASIGoI monuments on 19th Nov to mark the commencement of #WorldHeritageWeek. Note- Entry to Taj Mahal,Agra shall also remain free on 19 Nov except the main Mausoleum. Visitors will be allowed to visit main Mausoleum only with requisite entry ticket.”

In Odisha, all the ASI protected monuments have been made entry free for today. In Konark, a large number of tourists were seen entering the Sun Temple premises. The World Heritage Week is celebrated every year from November 19 to 25.
