Pune: In a tragic incident, at least 15 people, including four children, were killed after a housing society wall collapsed in Pune following heavy rains, media reports stated.
A portion of 60-feet long wall of a residential society in Kondhwa collapsed on a slum where labourers were sleeping.
There are two or three more people feared to be trapped in the debris, reports stated.
Pune district collector Naval Kishore Ram has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
The workers were living in a camp of an under construction site, he said.
The incident occurred around 1.40am on Saturday near Talab Masjid in Kondhwa.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is currently carrying out search and rescue operations.
