Sambalpur: In a significant development, the Governor of Odisha, Ganeshi Lal who is also the Chancellor of University has curtailed the power of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) vice-chancellor Atal Chaudhuri following repeated unrest in the University campus.
With Chaudhuri have been barred from taking any decision on university fund.
The Governor has reportedly made this direction after repeated complaints of misuse of power by Chaudhuri.
Notably, Chaudhuri will retire on February 15.
