MGM Foundation Donates EzeCheck Devices to BMC

Bhubaneswar: MGM Foundation, the CSR arm of MGM Minerals Limited, today donated 10 EzeCheck devices to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) as its support to make preventive healthcare accessible to people from all walks of life and strengthen public healthcare system.

MGM Foundation Directors Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and Shri Padma Lochan Mohanty handed over the devices to BMC Commissioner, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh at BDA Conference Hall today evening.

EzeCheck is a non-invasive screening gadget to detect anaemia, random sugar and predict lungs, liver and kidney problems within less than 10 seconds. What really makes it unique is that it does so without taking a single drop of blood from your body.

Appreciating the noble gesture of MGM Foundation, BMC Commissioner, Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, said: “We are thankful to the MGM Foundation for their gesture which will help the common people in the city in getting advanced healthcare facilities in quick time. These EasyCheck medical devices will greatly help in providing low-cost, highly advanced and reliable medical solutions to the residents of Bhubaneswar.”

Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, Director, MGM Foundations, said: “We are happy to contribute to the BMC as part of our social commitment, and such medical devices will be very useful for preventive healthcare of the people.”

These will be used in BMC hospitals and different Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) and Urban Community Health Centres (UCHCs) in the city.

EasyCheck is a product of EzeRx Health Tech Pvt Ltd and its Founder & CEO Mr. Partha Pratim Das Mahapatra was present at the occasion and gave a demonstration on its usability and functionality.

Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar, Chairman of Bhubaneswar City knowledge innovation cluster (BCKIC) and CEO of KIIT- Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI) also spoke on the early stage of incubation and development of the device and its benefits for the people and institutions.

Among others, BMC Deputy Commissioner (Sanitation), Shri Suvendu Kumar Sahu, Additional District Urban Public Health Officer (ADUPHO), Dr. Antaryami Mishra were present at the occasion.
