Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance has warned the government officials who are taking bribe through digital modes. Taking to twitter, Vigilance has said that two cases of bribe taking through PhonePe and one where bribe taken through unnamed Cheque have been detected yesterday. In all the three cases, private persons who were helping government servants by taking bribe money in their PhonePe/Bank accounts have also been arrested/prosecuted.
Going forward, Odisha Vigilance is committed to take strong action against bribe takers and their facilitators. “Remember, you aren’t safe when taking bribe through PhonePe. We will follow the digital footprints and come after you,’ Odisha Vigilance tweeted.
