Cuttack: The historic Bali Yatra of Cuttack will not be held this year due to COVID-19 situation, informed the district administration.
Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani informed about this development.
Since Bali Yatra attracts huge number of people, any congregation during Covid times might lead to increase in infections, hence the decision of not holding the annual fair has been taken, he said.
Similarly, Bada Osha celebrations at Dhabaleswar Temple might not be held this year, he added.
