Odisha Reels under Cold Waves; 16 Places Record below 10 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Odisha continued to reel under a severe cold wave with the minimum temperature dropping below 10 degree Celsius in 16 places across the State on Monday.

As per reports, Sonepur recorded the lowest temperature for the third consecutive day with minimum temperature setting at 5.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Angul 5.6 degrees Celsius and Phulbani was at 6.3 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, Titlagarh (6.5), Daringbadi (7), Keonjhar (8.4), Bolangir (8.5), Balasore (8.5), Sundargarh (8.5), Sambalpur (8.7), Jhasuguda (8.9), Bhawanipatna (9), Koraput (9.1), Baripada (9.4), and Talcher (9.4) recorded the temperature at below 10 degrees Celsius.

Cuttack recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius and Bhubaneswar 10. 6 degrees Celsius today.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, the minimum temperature is very likely to rise gradually by 2-3 degree Celsius during next 24 hours.
