Bhubaneswar: As many as 13 districts have received deficit rainfall from June 1 to July 19 this monsoon season, said the Metrological Centre Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
The State has received the rainfall of 346.5 mm against its normal value of 405.5 mm during the same period.
The districts that have experienced deficient rainfall include The districts that have experienced deficient rainfall include Nabarangpur 249.4 (-49), Rayagada 226.9 (-37), Kalahandi 281.2 (-44), Ganjam 186 (-40), Kandhamal 288 (-26), Khordha 232.7 (-37), Nayagarah 310.2(-21), Puri 228.9 (-30), Cuttack 266.6 (-31), Kendrapara 250.6 (-28), Balasore 279.6 (-34) and Mayurbhanj 237.6 (-47).
Jharsuguda (559.1 (28), Sambalpur 535.3 (21), Malkangiri 581.5 (38) and Deogarh 570.6 (38) have witnessed excess rainfall during the same period.
