Bhubaneswar: Another 15 students from Odisha have been evaluated from the war-torn Ukraine.
15 Odia are among more than 700 Indian students evacuated from Ukraine’s Sumy.
All the students were stuck in Ukraine for almost about two weeks suffering from a lack of food stock and water supply.
Sumy is badly affected by the ongoing war with massive damages to rail lines, roadways and bridges.
The Indian students were first taken to Poltava, from where they boarded trains to western Ukraine, and were finally airlifted.
The government also said that over 17,100 Indian nationals have been brought back to India from the neighbouring countries of Ukraine so far.
