Bhubaneswar: The ruling Biju Janata Dal has made massive lead by the end of 18th round of counting of votes in the by-poll to the Padampur Assembly seat in Bargarh district.
After end of 18 round, the BJD is in a comfortable position with 32438 lead.
In the 18th round, the BJD secured
4958 votes, BJP got 2579 votes and Congress 104 votes.
The by-poll was held on December 5 and had witnessed record voter turnout of 81.29 percent. The counting of votes is underway.
