Bhubaneswar: The stage is all set for the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup to be played at the iconic Kalinga Stadium here from tomorrow.
The Commissionerate Police has made adequate security arrangements for the mega sporting event.
Twin City Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi said that a four-layer security will be put in place for the matches.
As many as 15 platoons of police force, six Additional DCPs, 14 ACPs, 30 Inspectors, 100 officers, 240 Constables and 142 Lady Stewards will be deployed around Kalinga Stadium, the Police Commissioner stated.
The Police Commissioner and Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh reviewed the security arrangements at the stadium.
The Kalinga stadium will host five Group A matches, in which four countries — India, the US, Morocco and Brazil — will be playing each other, and one Group B match between Nigeria and Chile.
