Puri: Chairman 5T Transformational Initiatives and Nabin Odisha, Kartik Pandian today undertook a review of the various works related to the Heritage Corridor Project in Puri. After having darshan of the deities, Pandian visited the project site and held on the spot of review of the progress and also interacted with some street vendors. Pandian also oversaw the works related to the AC Shed that is being put up on the Badadanda for the pilgrims. The works related to the AC sheds are likely to be completed by the last week of this month and operational by New Year. The modern AC sheds will help pilgrims to have hasslefree darshan of the deities.
The 5T Chairman took stock of the progress of the new road being laid between Sri Jagannath Ballava Complex to Doladebi Kona near the Srimandira with the senior officials. He instructed the implementing agency to speed up the work and complete on time. Puri Collector Samarth Verma, Sub-Collector Bhabataran Sahoo and other senior officials were present during the review.
