5T Secretary Keeps His Promise, Gifts Book on Biju Patnaik to Ganjam Student Aspiring to Become Pilot

Berhampur: Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian has kept his promise and gifted a book on the life of Biju Patnaik to a high school student from Ganjam district who aspires to become a pilot.

S. Bhaskar, a student from Chikiti block, was very joyous after received the book ‘The Adventures of The Daredevil Democrat’, depicting the life and works of legendary leader Biju Patnaik, from the 5T Secretary.

On October 11, Pandian, while reviewing the progress of third phase of High School Transformation Programme, interacted with the students of government high schools from various blocks of Ganjam district through video conferencing and wanted to know about their goals in life.

The 5T Secretary advised the students to always dream big and work hard to make the dream come true.

During interaction, S. Bhaskar told the 5T Secretary that he wants to become a pilot.

Legendary leader Biju Patnaik was a good pilot, said Pandian and advised the student to read biography of Biju Babu and his pilot life.

To encourage and motivate Bhaskar in realizing his dreams, the 5T Secretary also promised him that a book on the life of Biju Patnaik would be given to him through the Ganjam Collector.

On Friday Ganjam Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida presented the book comic book titled, ‘The Adventures of The Daredevil Democrat’ to the student sent by Pandian.

The book depicts the life and work of the legendary pilot and former Odisha Chief Minister late Biju Patnaik.

The student was very happy to get the book and expressed his gratitude to the 5T Secretary.
