5T Secy Reviews Puri Heritage Corridor Project, Urges Puri Admin to Ensure Basic Amenities to Devotees Visiting Srimandir

Bhubaneswar: The pilgrim city of Puri is soon going to be the world heritage city. The developmental works under the Odisha Government’s ambitious Puri Heritage Corridor (Parikrama) Project are in full swing.

Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian has reviewed the progress of the heritage corridor project works and directed the officials to complete the project in time.
He has also urged the Puri administration to provide basic amenities to the pilgrims and devotees visiting the Srimandir on the occasions, such as Rath Yatra, Kartika barta and New Year.

He also directed the administration to ensure special traffic arrangements on the occasion of Rath Yatra and New year.
Meanwhile, the work at Jagannath Ballav Parking Centre and Sri Setu has been accelerated along with other works of the corridor project.

The State Government has set the target to complete the Heritage Corridor project by December this year.
