Bhubaneswar: In what could be the best ever achievement for the Odisha Police, the Union Government today announced to present Police Medals for Gallantry to 67 policemen from Odisha. The list, announced on the eve of the Independence Day, also includes two President’s Police Medasl (PPM) for Distinguished Service and eleven Police Medals (PM) for Meritorious Service from Odisha.
The Un ion Government today announced the Police Medal for Gallantry to 662 police personnel, President’s Police Medal for Gallantry to 628 personnel, President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service to 88 personnel, and Police Medal for Meritorious Service to 662 personnel in total.
