Fifteen Police Personnel From Odisha to Receive President’s Medal For Gallantry, Eleven To Get Meritorious Service Medals
Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Home Affairs today announced the Gallantry and Service Medals on the occasion of Republic Day. According to the press release, fifteen Police personnel from Odisha will receive the President’s Medal for Gallantry and eleven personnel will receive the Meritorious Service Medals.
While senior IPS Officer Dr Santosh Bala, currently posted as Special Secretary to Home Department, and Constable Sanjukta Pattnaik will receive the prestigious President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM), IG of Police, Satyabrata Bhoi has been awarded the Meritorious Services Medal (MSM). Civil Defence Volunteer Jyoti Ranjan Mahapatra has been awarded the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service.
