Bhubaneswar: The country is celebrating its 75th Republic Day today with full pomp and gaiety. In Odisha, the state-level Republic Day celebrations were organised at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar. Governor Raghubar Das unfurled the national flag and took salute at the ceremonial parade. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was also present at the event.
The Republic Day parade was led by IPS AB Shilpa today. A total of 64 teams participated in the parade. Students from various schools, ITBP, CRPF, BSF, ODRAF, Odisha Home Guards, RPF, Sainik School Police Band participated in the parade. Jharkhand Police Team joined the Celebrations and Parade as a guest contingent. The Celebrations also showcased beautifully decorated tableaus of twelve Government departments.
