Bhubaneswar: Prominent corporate leader Santrupt Misra on Friday joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
Misra, the former director of group HR at Aditya Birla Group, joined the BJD at Naveen Niwas in the presence of BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Inspired by the ideals of the Chief Minister and his people-centric transformative initiatives, Misra took the membership of the BJD.
The BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik welcomed Misra to the party.
Misra thanked the Chief Minister for inducting him in the party.
Misra took voluntary retirement from his corporate job in December.
