Cognizant Setting up Its Unit in Bhubaneswar, to Create Thousands of Job Opportunities

Bhubaneswar: Cognizant is setting up its unit in Bhubaneswar, which will create thousands of job opportunities in the next two years in the State.

The brand new office of global IT giant at Odisha Technology Centre in Bhubaneswar will have a capacity of 2000 employees and will be expanded to 5000 in next two years.

“Marking yet another significant milestone in Odisha’s IT landscape, Cognizant is setting up its unit in Bhubaneswar which will create thousands of job opportunities in the next two years. Stable governance, conducive policies and availability of huge talent pool are attracting global IT behemoths to Odisha”, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) informed.
Odisha continues to take giant strides in the IT sector with the opening of many leading multi-national companies and has become one of the most sought-after IT destinations in the country.

Bhubaneswar is emerging as India’s fastest-growing IT city in the East and Northeast, making a significant milestone in the nation’s technological advancement.

Cognizant joins global giants like Deloitte, IBM, EY, PWC and Concentrix in setting up units in Odisha.
