Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday raided an illegal sawmill and seized valuable timber worth Rs 8 lakh in Bhadrak district.
The sawmill was operating at Dandi village under Nayakanidihi PS in Bhadrak district.
“In a joint forest raid conducted today i.e on 13.2.2024 by forest wing of Odisha Vigilance on running of an illegal sawmill at village-Dandi, PS- Nayakanidihi, Dist- Bhadrak, sawmill accessories along with valuable timber worth Rs. 8 Lakhs detected and seized. Further investigation continuing. Detailed report follows”, the Vigilance said.
